As an outstanding program of the 12th Hungarian Conference on Material Science a Panel Discussion was organized about the Industry 4.0 and its actual challenges.

The speakers of the Panel Discussion were selected among the representatives of the Industrial companies (e. g. Continental Automotive Hungary, ISD Dunaferr) and of the EPIC partner BME.
Participants assembled together from different companies and from academical institutions pointed out the difficulties of the SMEs when try to compete with international companies.
EPIC CoE and EPIC Innolabs Ltd. may offer help at the initial phase and solution in order to overcome the difficulties.
