On 6 June 2024, the Eleventh Infoparliament event by Infotér Association was held at the Hungarian Parliament and the Bálna convention center.

During the day-long programme, the focus of the presentations and exhibitors was on artificial intelligence, increasing economic competitiveness and the use of innovative technologies. HUN-REN SZTAKI, consortium member of the EPIC CoE project, also exhibited at the event.

Nobel laureate Klaus von Klitzing to drawn by EPIC CoE member HUN-REN SZTAKI's drawing robot on the last day of IMEKO World Congress 2024

Professor Klitzing, who gave a keynote lecture on the morning of the closing day of the conference, won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1985 for his discovery of the quantum Hall effect, which eventually led to major advances in metrology.

Nobel laureate to present on the third day of IMEKO World Congress 2024

The third day of the IMEKO World Congress 2024 took place on 28 August 2024, with Stefan Hell, winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, giving a keynote presentation. EPIC CoE consortium member HUN-REN SZTAKI was also exhibiting at the event.
