EPIC CoE researchers of HUN-REN SZTAKI participated in a workshop in Vienna, where researchers from Fraunhofer Austria presented a recent result: they measured the variable current consumption of a manufacturing cell using PLC data.

The workshop started with a theoretical introduction, summarising the importance of the technologies used, the network layer used, the background of development and implementation decisions. In the second half of the workshop, they presented their measurement system in a mobile demonstration environment they had built.
